Elyssa graduated Lower Merion High School in Ardmore Pennsylvania and during high school participated in the Philadephia Youth Orchestra.  She spent 2 summers studying at the Tanglewood Boston University Institute and  went on to graduate from  Boston University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Cello Performance. She attended the summer music festivals of Kneisal Hall, AIMS and LA Philharmonic Institute.  She also taught cello at Luzerene Music Center Camp.

Elyssa has performed with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia  for almost 20 years,  and many other local organizations in the Tri-state area.  She plays weddings and parties.

She has performed with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, RockStar Supernova, Rod Stewart,  Josh Groban, Yanni , Beatlemania, and other large venue bands.

Since 1993 she has been a member of the Harrisburg Symphony cello section.

Elyssa has been teaching privately and at the Music Centre in Exton for 20 years.
